Linda Kauffmann received her degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She then entered the post-graduate program at the Art Institute of Chicago

Ms. Kauffmann began her art career as the director of arts for the YMCA in Buffalo. She then became an associate with the Knox-Albright Art Gallery.

An art educator as well as an artist, Ms. Kauffmann was an instructor in the public school system of Cook County, Illinois and Dade County, Florida. She has also conducted workshops teaching various watercolor techniques in Sarasota, Florida at the Hilton Leech Studios as well as her own studios.

Her paintings have been shown in many prestigious juried exhibitions and galleries. You may find her paintings in many private collections internationally and throughout the the United States.

Ms Kauffmann is a signature member of the Florida Watercolor Society, the Suncoast Watercolor Society, the Sarasota Manatee Women's Caucus For Arts, and the Sarasota Fine Arts Society and Vice President of Arts Center Sarasota.
