Isabel Goode-DeBlanc is a plein air painter, but is also known for her nudes and realistic portraits.

Born in Mexico and grew up on the Texas Gulf Coast. Isabel has been drawing since she was four. Isabel's artistic gift is demonstrated by her wide range of subjects, and the various media she utilizes: pastels, oils, and watercolor. Mostly self-taught, she prefers painting from life, using natural light.

Isabel has exhibited locally in Texas during the past few years, having a one-woman show at the Plaza Lofts and at the Zandoozi Gallery in downtown Austin. Her affiliations are with the Austin Pastel Society, the AVAA, Capitol Art Society, Oil Painters of America and American Women Artist Association. She was one of the founding members of Plein Air Austin. Her work was selected to show at the Austin Fine Art Festival. Her plein air paintings were exhibited at the Mill Atelier Gallery in Santa Fe. The Wally Workman Gallery in Austin, the Golden Bough in Georgetown, and the Spicewood Gallery in Spicewood are presently showing her artwork.

She has recently moved to Ajijic, Jalisco, in Mexico, with her husband, and continues to be an avid painter.
