Emiliano Molinero Hurtado – Tzintzuntzan, Michoacán

Emiliano Mulinero’s work in burnished clay includes pieces of Patojo vessels, pots with pouring spouts or with large handles and round vessels modeled after pre-hispanic pieces found in the area. They are prized for their beauty and original form. They are decorated with contemporary treatments of many of the traditional pre-hispanic designs.

His work in burnished pieces has garnered Emiliano awards and recognition throughout Mexico.
